The idea of the game and its execution was alright. It was enough to satisfy me and get me hooked into the game's scenario and mood. Can't wait to see what the full version will contain.

this game is SUPER SUSPENSING and the atmosphere is perfect makes me feel goosebumps cant wait till the full game. The gameplay is pretty easy but with ghost peach makes it a little more intense as she can move through walls and jump scare you the moment you try and open the door. Not to much cons, actually very little. First, is that the stamina speed refuels up to fast and makes the game less tense. Second, is that ghost peach can sometimes be frustrating. But thats all greta game and i cant wait to see the full version.
That was pretty cool. I love N64 and still play it to this day, so it was a lot of fun to play a horror game in the old castle. I can't wait to see what else you do with it. Great job!

This was a great game but wasn't super scary would've been better with some background music or louder jumpscare sounds but still I had a lot of fun with this game and I can see this game being great in the future
Why do people think the solution to making scarier games is to just make louder jumpscares? Obnoxiously loud jumpscares ruin a lot of otherwise good horror games, it's one of the reasons I have a hard time enjoying FNAF.
There's so much more a game can do to make it scarier than just turning up the volume on the jumpscares.
It's a preference thing some people may not like having loud sounds but other people do. It's like how puppet combo is scary mainly because of the volume of their jumpscares. There are still a lot of good games without any loud noises but imo the scariest games have much louder sounds
This was interesting, but it's not scary more like a glorified game of tag. Still a good game though and loved the gameplay. Will say Peach is annoying I couldn't shake her for almost the entire video. Oh and CM9 please could you share the video with your friends/community it helps with the YouTube algorithm and shares it to even more people.
This game has a lot of potential. I enjoyed playing it just wish there was more to experience. One thing I did want more of is the horror aspect I felt like there was too much Super Mario 64 and not enough Another Princess is in our castle... if that makes since but you got a jump scare out of me so you're heading in the right direction.

I wanted to suggest some kind of short sprint mechanic, maybe you can run faster for a short amount of time but it also makes you louder, widening the distance where you can be detected.
You could also add some kind of mechanic where Mario has some kind of disguise or cover to hide under. He can move with the disguise/cover over him, but he has to freeze when the princess is around or he will be detected. Maybe he's wearing a koopa troopa shell and has to hide in the shell when the princess is around and pop-out again when she passes.

Pretty nice game, but sometimes, the princess spots you when you are too far away from her. On my first try, I cannot go out of the "peach room" because the ghost kept coming back, no matter where she was in the castle.
