The Best Horror Game I Have played great job in Making the castle and the layout is amazing. I Loved feeling trapped in the castle trying to avoid that cutie Princess Peach lol the trophies that we have to collect are super cool as well. You guys have to play this its great from start to finish. @CM9 Animation I cant wait for the second part or the full game take your time in making the rest of the game your doing an AMAZING job!!!!
This was an amazing horror version of a classic game! The demo was simple but enjoyable. Looking forward to being able to explore more of the castle! Would love to see the AI for princess peach have more movements or actions added to make it a bit scarier. The sound design was really good, after taking some time I felt I could really get a hang of avoiding her by listening for her movement. Looking forward to more updates! Great work on this, I loved it!
okay I played version 0.1.1 through to completion. Despite the game's simplicity, I found it enjoyable. It's definitely inspired by the likes of Slender and Granny, but that's okay of course.
I don't have any harsh criticisms because it's a demo release, but I'll say sometimes the AI is a little wonky. I've stood right in front of her and no reaction until I get pretty much in her face. other times she saw me through the wall or floor and entered her chase mode. Luckily she never actually found me then. The actually death jumpscare is okay, but it really gets you once or twice. Maybe add in variations based on where and how she gets ahold of Mario.
To end it on a positive note, I enjoyed the little attention to details and the exploration factor. The progression milestones even somewhat match the OG Mario 64 game(which admittedly I'm hazy on because sadly I never got to play it myself). And one of the more eerie things is hearing Peach utter a soft "Mario" occasionally when you jump in a chest. Rather spoopy.
In short, it's a beta game. Don't expect much JUST yet. But despite this and with this in mind, it's rather good. I see potential and want to see where this will go next.
What an INCREDIBLE experience. This game did such a good job of making the player really feel like they were trapped in the classic game, but with a horrifying twist! The Princess AI seemed a little "goofy" at times, but it was still very challenging yet fun to play through and avoid here! Very much looking forward to the full release!

Awesome Game! I think i found a glitch though, if you die while in a chest and try to start a new game, you won't be able to move, since the check that you're inside a chest has no longer been deactivated.
I liked it! I know its just a demo, but I think peach lingers too close to the player. I think she should wander further away more often. Am really excited to see how the story shapes up. This was hard!

My opinion of the game is:
I personally believe the gameplay was pretty fun, I had fun playing through the game and replayed a couple of times until I won.
How it could improve:
The jumpscare is awful, if you could improve it that would be amazing!
Also it needs a story, it feels a little empty for now. A story would make it feel better. (I get it's a demo)
Other than that I think the game was pretty good, good job CM9!
